Modern Mid-Century Kitchen
This bright and airy room celebrates not only the beautiful leafy views of Chestnut Hill as seen through its large windows, but it also plays up the connections between shared rooms.
The cabinetry in this new kitchen was carefully fitted into the room in a manner that gives it a custom feel. And the addition of a bespoke bookcase and storage cabinet serves as a subtle divider between the eating space and the living room below.
The customers, who have a great eye for color, selected the green tones in the mosaic tile backsplash and granite countertops, which are a perfect complement to the clean lines of cherry cabinets.
While it was a challenge to make this sleek, efficient kitchen appear seamless, it now looks smart and polished and will remain so for decades of use. This was a truly joyful project for everyone at our company to work on.
|“We got a postcard … about a year ago. We loved the look of the featured kitchen and went to Myers Constructs’ website where we saw equally beautiful projects and an aesthetic that felt right. That led to a meeting with Tamara Myers and, a few months later, to our own beautiful new kitchen. From beginning to end, the collaboration was a wonderful experience and the result speaks for itself.”
