It’s Condo Season! Here’s What’s in the Works

Most people think of February as a time to slow down, go into hibernation mode, and make plans for the warmer spring season ahead. At Myers Constructs, nothing could be further from the truth. Since the start of the year, our team has been heads down hiring a remodeling designer — as well as taking on 4 new condo projects peppered across the city of Philadelphia.

Here’s a peek at these projects and what’s happening in each location:

At The Dorchester in Rittenhouse Square, a dated smaller unit needs a kitchen renovation and cosmetic refresh to improve enjoyment for the owners, who travel internationally. We are planning this project with them remotely!

In Old City’s Pier 3 Condominium complex, we’re gut-renovating our client’s kitchen and full bath in a water-level unit with spectacular views of the Delaware River. Our goal is to complete the work for the homeowner while she’s out of town.

At the Western Union Building in Washington Square West (shown here), we’re helping one homeowner rethink, reimagine, and replace the current builder-grade finishes and “flipper gray” color palette. Our designer team helped this busy executive select paint colors, lighting, faucets, new vanities, tile, custom window treatments — including blackout shades and draperies — in addition to new flooring and tile.

And in Southwest Center City, we’re redoing a luxurious large unit — upgrading finishes, adding more flair, and reconfiguring cabinet and beverage storage solutions to make the spaces work smarter and flow better for the owners, who love to entertain.

Whoo! We certainly have our hands full, but we’re fully energized by these challenges. Stay tuned to our Instagram page, where we’ll post updates as these projects come together heading into spring!
