Guide to the Main Line Profile:
Myers Constructs
I was introduced to Myers Constructs Inc. by Megan Carr at Allied Mortgage Group (610-660-4710) in Bala Cynwyd. Megan is a top Main Line mortgage provider with wonderful mortgage products including home improvement loans. One of the more popular programs is a mortgage available for purchases or refinances where the home improvement costs are included in new loan. It is a great option for Realtors and home contractors and Megan had recently met with Myers Constructs. She liked the replica handbags very much. And she was impressed by the work they were doing and suggested that I should meet them.
Myers Constructs is a custom design-to-build general contractor serving Philadelphia and the surrounding area including the Main Line. This woman-owned company is known for historic renovations and has decades of experience that shows through in every project. They have a simple philosophy to work closely with a homeowner from the beginning planning stage of a project until the last nail is hammered in. The homeowner benefits from a streamlined process when the project designer and contractor are the same company. Also, having the builder intimately involved in the design process helps keep costs down.
I met the owners of Myers Constructs at their design studio in Philadelphia and got an intimate overview of the company and the “design-to-build” process. It’s very interesting to see the detailed plans that are created in the design studio and the photos of the finished project. We had a major renovation a few years ago on my home and we had numerous headaches from start to finish. I got the sense while meeting with Myers that my renovation would have gone smoother using the design-to-build format.
Myers Constructs is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. Green building starts with taking into account the construction methods that best impact the environment. There are numerous ways to make your next remodeling project more “green” such as reusing materials, insulation, bamboo floors (a fast growing tree), low flow faucets, locally made products, natural stone, etc. Myers Constructs reviews all of the “green” options when planning a project and works with clients to implement the best options for the home.
